Usage Guide

- Spelling: publicize (AmE) / publicise (BrE).

- 'widely / heavily / highly publicized' are the most common collocations, usually as a participle adjective: a heavily publicized trial.

- publicize (actively promote) is not the same as 'make public' (merely reveal): you can make a fact public without publicizing it.
