词根拆分
词根派生re-（回）+ lāt（被携带，ferre 的过去分词）=「带回」。两样东西彼此带回到一起就是「关联」——于是有了 related to；把事件带回讲给听者就是「叙述」；把别人的经历带回到自己身上就是「感同身受」（I can relate）。
